good item 14 Feb 2012
good basic item -does what it says on the tin. just one small flaw -the steam that comes up as you lift the lid is directed straight at your arm so beware- my husband uses wooden tongs to lift the lid. cooks enough chips for two medium sized portions- i guess you would buy a larger fryer if you want loads of chips. suites us and doesn't use much oil. the fact that the lead is wired in not plugged in is a bonus as this was where our old one failed.
