Tim Stafford, with his in-depth knowledge and contagious enthusiasm, has created a resource that is both useful in the classroom setting and an engaging read for the teacher. Tim's trialling of the ideas in primary classes and the evidence of pupils' work has given me the courage to try them out for myself with excellent results!

I've taught KS1 and 2 and this book is stuffed full of ideas to use within both key stages. All of the activities within the book allow the children a chance to view literacy in a different way and engage and excite the children's interests. A fantastic book that re-ignites a teachers enthusiasm for literacy.
