I would highly recommend Adrian Oldknow & Ron Taylor's book 'Teaching Mathematics with ICT'. It has an easy to read and informal style that is easily accessible to mathematics teachers whatever their level of confidence with ICT. It is a very practical book that covers the range of uses and types of software available to the secondary mathematics teacher and it is closely linked with current national advice in this area. There are lots of practical examples for using computers and graphics calculators in different areas of the curriculum and it contains activities for the reader to do using the demonstration software on the accompanying CD-ROM. The book also contains some very useful case studies by teachers about how using technology can enhance teaching and learning.
