DVD Description

Kurt, Brian, Penny, Matt and Lindsay are the teachers no parent would want teaching their kids. And they’re back for a new 13 part series that sees them making friends, falling out, trying to figure out the opposite sex, smoking in the playground… and dealing with lippy pupils. It’s business as usual for the young teachers specialising in immaturity rather than the traditional subjects. Brian and Kurt are still dreaming of getting laid, and they’ve met their match with new biology teacher Lindsay – she can drink a pint in 1.3 seconds, she likes curry and she can out-blunt any of the boys! Back in the photocopier room, Matt (married with kids) and Penny have managed to find the perfect work/play balance and are enjoying some extra curricular activity of their own. And what of everyone’s favourite teacher who quit teaching to go travelling in the last series? Andrew Lincoln returns as Simon, and he doesn’t receive the welcome he had hoped for when he surprises! his old mates.

This release contains episodes 1 – 13 of Series Three.

Executive Producer - Jane Fallon Producer - Rhonda Smith Directed by Brian Kelly, Otto Bathurst, Jonathan Fox Bassett, Susanna White and Andrew Lincoln Written by Ed Roe, Richard Stoneman, Andrew Rattenbury, Charlie Martin, Tony Basgallop and Jack Lothian Series created by Tim Loane

Teachers Series 3 is an excellent comedy drama however it doesn't live up to expectations after series 1 and 2. Unfortunately the series misses Simon, Susan and Jenny and the new characters just aren't as strong. Penny is still a bit out of place and Matt is a bit boring to be part of the gang. Lindsey fits in great though as a bit of a cross between Simon and Susan. Bob is given a bigger role but again he just doesn't seem to fit in. The series is still pretty funny though and if u haven't seen series 1 and 2 then its great. Brian and Kurt are still hilarious but even they miss Simon and the bickering with Jenny. Make the most of it though because series 4 is abysmal, i dont expect to see series 5 unless there are big changes.

Best Ever Series 2 July 2004
Format:DVD
Back for a new term with more fun.
With Simon off travelling, the shoes are left for Brian & Kurt to fill, and they do!
Bob's still around, Silicone inplanted Penny and secretery Liz, the foundations for a another great year are definately on the cards, and they don't disappoint.
Newcomers Lyndsy and Matt bring a new approach to the team, Lyndsy the fat Geordie, and Matt the married idle.
Storylines between Bob and Liz, Matt and Penny, and strangly enough, Brian & Kurt, make this series the best yet.
The best episode to date, second from the end, when Kurt becomes confined to a wheelchair is fantastic.
So if you love your comedy, buy this, or all three in the boxset.
You wont be able to press stop!

Loving the series 1, 2 and 4, I thought I'd get this to complete my collection and I'm glad I did. Couldn't find in on the highstreet because it's a few years old so I'm glad to find it online for such a good price. Delivery was faster than expected too. Really funny dvd that always cheers me up. Have watched it more than once and will continue to do so.
