The book has been the most useful of all the stuff I bought when the decision was made to move to France. (This book was bought at Waterstone's at Bluewater - the other stuff - a bit less useful - was bought through Amazon) It sorted out a number of things I half-understood from school (sub "O" level), holidays -usually camping, sometimes hotels, work trips where no real French was spoken and living in France for seven months.
It was hard work for me as an averagely bright 58 year old. French neighnours have said my French has improved
