The writing style is conversational, yet informative, making it easy to read and understand. I recommend it to anyone considering the option of home-schooling; it provides a detailed overview of the process involved.

I loved this book. It is so easy to read, but also holds tons of information. I especially liked the links to scientific studies, showing how effective home educating is. The anecdotes from parents are helpful too, and helped to dispel my fears about autonomous learning. Great book.
