Before buying this book I knew HTML inside out and a small understanding of VBscript. Now, just 3 weeks later I can put together dynamic web pages using ASP which not only look good but work well.
I have to say this is the best book on my 'internet bookshelf' and I am planning to buy the sequel on E-commerce programming in ASP and one on Javascript too.
I promise you won't be disappointed with this book. All you need to know is a bit of HTML and to have read this book to produce some great webpages.
I thoroughly recommmend it 100%.
I recommended this book to a couple of friends who were also doing their dissertations. All of whom passed with EXCELLENT grades.
How good? Well... here are the grades of the people I know used the book: I got a first, as did 4 of my friends, which left one other friend who got a 2.i (with a EXTREMELY high mark).
I still use the book, my friend still use the book (and he works as a web developer) and overall it has helped us all get to where we want.
So how good? VERY good.
