Really good system. Top end.

Look closely at the pictures as it has a leather case that isn't detachable. I don't mind this but hadn't realised it when I bought it. Remote control could be easier to use and it's not easy to set up DAB presets using it.

Very happy though - great sound and looks very smart.

Great product, however, it has to be switched off at night time due to its humming noise when on standby.

Bought one last week to replace a Roberts, ( sound wasnt too good on that ).
Sound quality is very good, nice bass to it considering the size, due to the bass ports at the rear. Easy to set up. 2 alarms.
Humming? Not on my radio.

Cons; found so far, Dimmer on the panel has to be reset every time you turn it on.
Alarms are on for every day, whereas on the Roberts, one was set for monday to friday, the second one for the weekend.

very buyable.

This product is great, BUT, it hums (whines): at night, on stand-by, so loud I had to unplug it, and in the morning, loud enough to make listening to Radio 4 a torture!!! At this price this is unacceptable.

Purchased the dock on the back of the brand name, having product researched in Comet/Currys as we all do, quickly came to the conclusion that a £100 will not get you a good bass sound or any kind of well built bit of kit.

I had the benefit of listening to this dock before i purchased.

The dock is a birthday present for my daughters bedroom and she is over the moon with the sound quality and functions that the Teac offers.

Great value, great sound for a stylus looking well built product, its heavy and solidly put together with a leather finish which looks very good, previous reviews did not like the leather feel but i say adds a little bit of quality.

Works on my Iphone 4, daughters iPod touch (latest model) iPhone 3 and her old Nano. Charges when the unit is using other features.

DAB sounds good and albeit restricted with stations somewhat in Devon it works well. Daughter has downloaded some radio Apps from the App store and is running the app through the iPod touch docked to the Teac wirelessly.

To conclude

Great value, good sound for the money and again good brand which imho always pays!

Hope this helps.

Go well.
