This isn't a bad CD/ iPod player, but for something that's relatively cheap I wish it could sound a bit, ahem, tinny. The bass from the sub-woofer is so full on that it overwhelms the high end tones from the tweeters. There is a tone control that fails to compensate for this. I haven't bothered to adjust the EQ on the iPoD, because that would be too much trouble. Also, the mechanism that opens and closes the CD tray jams frequently and turns the unit off, but this is a minor concern and just needs a little patience. The DAB radio seems to work fine.

This micro system is very modern looking and is ideal for a room with limited space. Despite having small speakers, the sub woofer included, powers the system giving it depth and added loudness. This system is also compatible with most mp3/phones and also has a handy i-pod doc. I used it with the i-pod nano. This allows you to operate the i-pod with the sleek remote control included. Digital radio is also featured on this elegant micro system. Please note there are no audio connections for TV, however sound from a TV can be received via the headphone socket if your TV has one.
