Well here goes,I bought the dr300 and am on my second, TEAC came highly recommended & with a great reputation but the unit is in simple terms rubbish!
DAB just does not stay tuned in or hold its channels both units are the same in this respect, so if listening to a program whoops its gone & needs to be re tuned. On top of this the display just switches off giving the impression that the unit has flipped out.
DVD or CD? make a choice, either way it will take hours if allowed to then tell you it cant read the disc, if you do get it to play DVD it then hates to look at CD or vice versa.
So why buy this unit in the first place? I saw one working really well have since seen 4 more returned by owners who wont use TEAC again & guess what i will be joining them.
Over all the idea is great for an all in one unit but TEAC have got this totally wrong i did not have either long enough to want another. If its been removed from the market it was not soon enough it should not even be out there until tested to work.
