I bought this in black from a local retailer and have been pretty pleased with it. the sound is excellent, much louder and clearer than other micro systems i've tried. great sound through ipod too i thought.

my only niggles are that the ipod dock connects to a port on the front of the unit and that the remote doesn't do fast scrolling. the port on the front is really unsightly and would be much better round the back. i have no idea why they did it this way. also, when you choose to control the ipod with the remote you have to press the arrow button each time to move to the next artist or album etc, you can't even hold it down to fast scroll. if you're trying to get to a specific song and it's near the end of the alphabet or by the 350th artist this could take all day so is easier not to use the remote then.

For the money a great piece of kit. ipod dock is very robust and well put together and really makes this unit a great buy. Sound is very good and although some reviewers have commented that ipod feed was not as good as playing CD directly, I found i pod quality still very acceptable (using Wharfedale 9.1 Bronze Speakers).Wharfedale DIAMOND9-1-ANNIV Diamond 9.1 75th Anniversary Limited Edition

DAB works well

Only niggle is that the remote for ipod is not intuitive and has a few operational quirks like having to stop before skipping tracks etc.

Having just got this I cannot fault it, apart from ipod dock BLACK and as in previous review WHY is ipod dock on front. Sounds great with my old AIWA speakers. Sounds FABULOUS with my ELTAX 180 speakers. Agree ipod control interesting and annoying that you have to stop everything to find next track that you want,but in clickweel setting it's an ipod with fabulous quality.
