Great probe - used it over Xmas for large joints - perfectly cooked meat each time. Very easy to use - I really couldn't manage without is now.

I've never owned a meat thermometer before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, this little gadget is amazing! You just input what you're cooking, stick it into your meat, and go! It beeps when it's done, and that's it! The only thing you have to be sure about is that you stick the thermometer exactly in the middle of the meat, otherwise the temperature reading won't be correct. I now feel super confident when I roast chicken and pork, because I know they won't be undercooked. And I can cook beef to a perfect medium every time. I can't even imagine how I lived without this gadget! The timer function is also handy.

The probe works very well, easy to use but the recommendation for medium rare gives you well done etc. Try it out before that important occasion. Also cannot be used for jam or sweet making as scale only goes to 100C.
