Product Description

Taylor Swift represents the next generation of country pop performers. Her impeccable voice, great music, and youthful beauty have made her the top selling digital artist in music history. However Taylor's success is no coincidence. This is the story of how a young girl from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania turned her dream into reality.

such a disapointment. This is not an offical DVD and has Poor quality graphics (very blocky in places) and poor sound. Just avoid this - you will find better info on youtube.

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible! 24 Mar 2012
This is very badly put together. It has the most annoying background music through the entire DVD - even when Taylor is talking (in what looks like copied/bootlegged video grabs) and even when music is playing (how can you have two lots of music playing at the same time? What a mess!!)

There are a couple of rare clips I've never seen before, but other than that, it's terrible.

There are two women giving their opinions about Taylor throughout this DVD - they are so annoying!!

But the worst thing is the "commentator". He is clearly NOT a professional commentator. He sounds like a moody Kanye West. He clearly has no idea about Taylor, her music or even country music. You can tell he is reading from a script because of some of the things he says. He makes a massive mistake at one point when he mentions Taylor's song "Always & Forever" by naming the title of the song wrong and he doesn't even realise it. He thinks "& forever" is part of the remaining sentence. He reads his "script" too fast and always sounds like he is rushing through it.

There are vidoes on Youtube & Taylor's official website that are so much more entertaining and enjoyable than this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amateur Editing & Narration with Annoying Background Track 8 Dec 2010

I was excited to receive this DVD. The moment I popped it in, I thought to myself "did I buy a highschool-er's class project?" The movie SCREAMS amateur so much so that it is annoying to watch. Not to mention there is a very annoying digitally created audio track that runs behind the whole movie. The "life story" contained in this DVD is made up of common knowledge information any Taylor fan would have known from watching her interviews throughout her career. I would recommend not wasting your money on this DVD...save it for when her Fearless Tour Official DVD comes out!

Waste of Money! This is a piece of CRAP! DO NOT BUY IT! Bad quality & the only time taylor is in it is when there are interviews of her from youtube! DUMB, its basic info about Taylor and two random people talk about her and analyze her relationships badly. Also, awful background music!!! No one would like this video!! I LOVE TAYLOR & was so excited for this, & EXTREMELY disappointed when i received it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, just awful 2 Jan 2011

I got this DVD for my daughter for Christmas b/c she loves Taylor Swift. We set aside a whole night to watch it, ordering in pizza and all. Within 5 minutes, I was so embarrassed. There's no footage of Taylor singing (or even of Taylor) and the DVD is mostly interviews with 2 women who don't know Taylor and are randomly chosen. They ramble on and on about whether parents should encourage their kids to sing (??) and irrelevant, random topics like whether Taylor is "like Princess Di" (they all conclude no in rambling commentaries and then the editor adds a bunch of footage from Princess Di and Prince Charles' wedding. Bizarre!) The whole thing is grainy and a "soundtrack" is added of "music" that sounds like the background of a video game. The video wasn't just bad - it was bizarre.
