Product Description

Review

An excellent balance of practice and theory, without non-essential details, makes this the first-choice student text for UK tax. --Professor John Hasseldine, University of Nottingham

An excellent textbook which I have recommended to all my students --Professor Anne Redston, Department of Law, King's College London

Tax is a subject that is difficult to successfully encapsulate in a student text. However, Andy Lymer and Lynne Oats have produced not only a comprehensive, accessible and accurate book, but also one with an apporpriate blend of approaches and materials. --Professor Rebecca Boden, University Wales Institute, Cardiff

About the Author

Andrew Lymer: Professor of Accounting and Taxation & Head of Accounting and Finance Department, University of Birmingham; Leader, HM Treasury Tax Development Programme & Lynne Oats: Professor of Taxation and Accounting, University of Exeter

I bought this book because I had to trail the taxation unit on my university course. It's been absolutely brilliant and significantly helps me to understand the course content!
