This is the best book on woodturning ever written !
Richard's individual teaching style leaps off every page and each and very aspect is supported by high quality photographs.
Please note that the biggest bit of advice is at the beginning of this excellent guide - THIS BOOK SHOULD LIVE IN YOUR WORKSHOP - not on a bookshelf or on a coffee table !

I bought this book for my husband, he is new to woodturning, he has found it extreemly helpfull as a reference book, dipping into it for help when things have gone a bit wrong, there are projects to make, and lots of information about getting started through to more technical advanced knowledge, the beautiful photographs aid with the explanations. Brilliant!

Found this book very usefull for a complete novice such as myself for getting to grips with the art of wood turning and how to go about producing various turned forms.
