Tatty Devine is an independent British company designing and micro-manufacturing original jewellery in the UK. Their standout designs are all about expressing yourself in a fun and distinctive way.
Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden, who met at art school, founded Tatty Devine in 1999. They continue to run the company from a studio in London’s East End, where it all started.
The story of Tatty Devine began in 1999, after Rosie and Harriet met studying Fine Art at Chelsea. On the way home from the pub one night, Harriet stumbled across some bags of leather discarded outside an upmarket furniture store. After graduation, they put their painting careers on hold to make leather wrist cuffs, and sold them at Portobello and Spitalfields markets.
"We're proud to represent British design around the world."
Tatty Devine has become a cult classic of British fashion with its witty, offbeat designs. 99% of the jewellery is made by hand in Tatty Devine's own workshops (one in London and one in Kent). Each year, two main collections are launched at London Fashion Week. Perspex silhouettes are Tatty Devine's signature style, but you'll also find pieces created in textiles, wood, leather, veneer and enamel. We are continually developing new techniques to produce unique and exciting designs.
