This book has some really good qualty photo's and some potentially good ones. The problem really lies with the lighting on the black and white photo's - it's dark and moody and in most cases it's impossible to see detail! I bought the book because I'm interested in looking at tattoos - therefore I need to be able to see them!
That said there are some great tattoos on show. In one or two cases a bit of thought could have gone into the inclusion of particular pictures - one in particular is very questionable. If you buy the book you'll know the one I mean!
As a source of inspiration for anyone thinking about a tattoo there is some useful material here as well as some startling pictures of more extreme tattoos - anyone for a complete face/head tattoo?
Finally a word about the binding - it's poor quality and starts to come apart as soon as you open the book.

to me this book was put together in an attempt just to make some quick money.. has a series (not even that many) photos of people showing their tatts, coupled with some very limited info (the information in this book is by far its strong point). its seems to be more of an advert for the people featured in its pages, then as an educational/varied journey. the first few pages are the best, actually offering some interesting reading, but by no means fantastic. the pictures are all just average (not the photographers ability, but the subjects). you may as well go out and buy a tattoo magazine off the shelf of a newsagent. looks nice and shiny, but thats all.....
