Very mild and simple story. Scenes were not very erotic rather along the lines of detailed explicit description. Cute enough I guess for a shorter.

Vanessa Wu's writing provides a good example of the difference between erotica and pornography; whereas porn is simple a tool for arousal, erotica needs to not only arouse, but get inside that arousal, describe the tastes and textures, pause at delicate moments to keep us in delicious suspense. Taste of Her does this very well.

It takes a good writer to show passion on the page, and of course this was my biggest question going into the story - how well would she show desire and longing and the pulses that flicker through your body at such moments? She succeeds, aside from a few overwrought descriptions and poor word choices, and the story actually presents itself as something that could lead into much more. I'd like to see a collection of connected stories here, with some sort of thread that could weave amongst them and bind them together.
