I know that wet food is best for kitties, since they don't drink enough water. But my kitty definitely likes to crunch on kibble, and wet food gets expensive to feed exclusively. So he gets dry food in the mornings and wet food at night. Choosing a good dry food is hard, because you have to take into consideration the ingredients, the shape of the kibble, etc. I want my little guy to have the best food, and I don't want to pay a fortune for it. Taste of the Wild Canyon River formula has a good shaped kibble, and it's a flat, circular shape, so he actually chews it and doesn't just swallow it whole like he does with smaller kibble, like the Blue Buffalo and Wellness dry foods. Only downside to him chewing his food is that he leaves little pieces of it on the floor sometimes, but the dog (aka the four-legged vacuum ;) ) takes care of those.
My kitty's coat is gorgeously soft, thanks to this food, and he went from pooping 3 and 4 times a day and it smelling absolutely awful to only going once or twice and you can't smell it! For that fact alone, I would give it 5 stars. But it really is a great quality food and I know it's good for him, as well as economically priced. I definitely recommend it.
