This drink is sickly sweet and the serving size very small (120ml). There is virtually no coffee taste. There are only 8 drinks per pack as well. This represents poor value for money even if it tasted OK.

The drink itself is barely enough to fill a shot glass - the amount you get for using 2 (yes! 2 per drink!) T-Discs is absolutely pathetic. In fact I'd be surprised if the Tassimo does anything other than just heat the discs up as you'd get the same amount just piercing the foil and emptying the disc in to your cup.

On top of this, the taste is quite foul. You are presented with something that smells like creme brulee but tastes more like someone backwashed americano on to a considerable amount of sugar. Conversely, if you are to attempt to add any more water to either increase the drink size or neutralize the vomit inducing taste you will be presented with brown, flavourless hot water with a stingy bit of foam on top.

A combination of the size and taste leaves you with 8 espresso cups worth of pure remorse. My only saving grace was that I used my 20 GBP introductory discount with MyTassimo to get them so I haven't paid full price for them - and no way nearly as much as the robbing gimps are selling them on here for (Seriously? 9-11 GBP?)

As a Tassimo enthusiast here's a tip for all you guys who are looking for some T-Discs; either buy them in bulk packs of 5 for no more than 20 GBP or go to the Tassimo website and bulk order from there. You have to make a minimum order of 25 GBP but ANY Tassimo pack (including these Creme Brulee's) are at their most expensive 4.80 GBP each - which is why you should never buy bulk 5 packs from here for more than 20 GBP.

Machine doesn't make use of all of the product within the coffee T-disc. Gives a cappuccino sized drink which is sweet, sickly and has very little coffee flavour. Bad enough at the supermarket price of £4.50 to £5.00- I have no idea what this seller is on with the price! Avoid.

I was really looking forward to trying these, despite the reviews, as I thought I knew better.

They taste okay, very sweet and a bit like Baileys. Theres very little coffee taste and the capsules contain only liquid rather than coffee grinds. I actually quite liked the flavour, and almost appreciated the minute size of the drink (it claims medium on the packet, it's actually about an espresso shots worth) as it was very sweet and sickly. It was also not particularly hot compared to other drinks. My guests laughed when I presented them with a third of a cup, and we ended up putting and extra shot of espresso in which gave more volume and leader it less sickly. So overall, it was around 80 pence a cup, although it would have been more to buy from amazon as they are significantly cheaper on the tassimo website.

I'd give it a go for a nice, short, dessert coffee. But only get one pack. And from the tassimo website....

It will only make the amount you'd get in a special coffee cup out of one of those now old fashioned sets for coffee mornings and it is sweet (rather like a crème caramel) so the size is about right. If you love that, you'll love this. Delicious.

The 16-disc pack makes 8 drinks, using 1 each of a sweetened creamer disc (used by both Creme Brulee and Tiramisu) and a liquid flavoured instant coffee disc. It makes a 120ml drink; that will just about half-fill a cup which is the perfect size for a bog-standard Latte Macchiato. It looks even more miserly than usual, in other words.

It has a strong aroma of Creme Brulee, but tastes largely like a 50/50 mix of skimmed milk and hot water with maybe three spoons of sugar, and a suggestion of coffee. The smell of it reminds one of a creme brulee, but that's the extent of the resemblance. What little creaminess imparted by the little bit of foam on top is quickly diluted by the tepid sugar-water below.

It would be poor value at the normal supermarket price of 3.20 GBP or so for most 16-disc packs. After my first cup (which I wasn't willing to finish), I can't see making another one. Perhaps I'll use the Brulee discs to flavour lattes made in a larger cup, just to use them up.

Being new to Tassimo and I do love my coffee, I thought I would give this a go and what a surprise, just enough to drink,(expresso size)and sweet, this is one of my favourites.

I got this drink from the official Tassimo website, and I doubt I'll be getting it again.

As others have pointed out, this makes a rather small drink and a sickly-sweet one to boot. But the real problem with it in this case is the rip-off price; it's not worth the proper price of £3.99 charged by the Tassimo Store (and probably by any supermarket that stocks it), these suppliers must be joking to charge £9.99 (2.5 times the proper price) for it.

If you like a Creme Brulée flavoured coffee (and if you're not sure, try one at a coffee shop first), you'd be much better off to take any latte (but not one from this supplier, of course) and add a shot of Monin Creme Brulée Syrup (I find that about 20ml of syrup per 300ml of coffee works for me) to it, plus extra sweetener to taste if desired; the syrup costs £14.95 for a one litre bottle at any branch of Costa, but that's around 50 shots so will last a long while.
