I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it really is an excellent read and should be in every football fans library.
Not only does it provide a great insight into the Scottish game but also is a great read for any football fan, irrespective of the country you live in.
The quotes from some of the top football managers are witty, funny and with great humour.
Comes well recommended!!!!

I have over 100 football books in my collection, and it is hard to get away from the usual bog standard auto biog. This does that. Gallacher was a fav of mine at Blackburn and played alongside Shearer and Sutton.
He has managed to include some biog but also pick on a very interesting and contentious topic - just why Scottish footy is so bad.
I found it well presented (lots of pics) with some cutting edge comments. (I don't think Amarusso will be going North of Hadrians wall much after this!) A different approach well worth a read.
