Product Description

A factual yet fascinating trivia based book about the real lifestyles of millionaires past and present. Full of interesting and entertaining stories on the bizarre behaviour and eccentricities of the fabulously wealthy.

And who better to introduce the different chapters and amusing stories than Chris Tarrant, quiz master of TV’s massively popular show ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’ The book builds on Chris Tarrant’s love of trivia and on his association with the hit TV series, although it is not officially tied-in to the programme.

Tarrant on Millionaires contains weird and wonderful stories about the somewhat unusual behaviour of the world’s richest people, their follies and their foibles, how they made their fortunes and, in some cases, how they lost them!

What a weird idea for a book, Leigh and Lepine's stuff is usually spot on, but this is a little wide of the mark. A very successful tv series with an ill-conceived idea from the publishers, still enough funny moments to make it a worthwhile buy at this price.
