From the Author

A guide/workbook to personal transformation through Tarot
At the time I wrote this book there were several "rules" about Tarot: you must memorize all meanings before using the cards, never read the Tarot for yourself, and use a significator. I broke all these taboos and wrote a book revealing the tremendous vitality, depth and richness that could thus be added to your Tarot experience. Having sold over 150,000 copies, this book has been described as: "A classic in the self-help field. A bestselling metaphysical workbook that has revolutionized Tarot with its combination of self-teaching techniques and personal insight emphasis." It serves as a journal of exercises, and includes meditations, rituals, spreads, mandalas, visualizations, dialogues, charts, astrology, numerology, crystals, affirmations and healing.

I would recommend this book to beginners and advanced users of tarot such as myself. This is a great book for improving your psychic intuition as it gives you guided visulizations to follow to enhance your ability to summon your intuition at will! It talks about various rituals such as grounding and cleansing the deck, methods of using the tarot. It is very interactive and gives you the ability to actively participate in the book. You can actually write in the book as you follow it through, this is very helpful. It teaches you how to purify your cards with the elements and how to use different spreads and perform indepth readings. It teaches you about healing with crystals and using crystals to record readings. It's an absolutely great read! Another fantastic book to add to my tarot collection. A real hands on gem of a book! Highly Recommended :)

Of Mary K. Greer's excellent three-book basic set on tarot,
"Tarot For Yourself" is the one that hands-down anyone
truly interested in an in-depth study of the cards must have.
It would serve as a serious workbook for at least a
year's worth of exploration, and is one of the necessary books
on tarot on any esoteric bookshelf.
