More than a Tarot Deck 19 Nov. 2012
By G. Arnott - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Cards
For many magicians and tarot readers there's nothing to be done or improved upon after Crowley's Thoth Tarot. It is the perfect deck. Duquette points this out in his book that accompanies his deck and obviously has a great deal of respect for Crowley's work. I agree and wouldn't even have bought the deck if it weren't for the personal admiration I have for Duquette as a scholar and magician and his spectacular account of charging the cards in his entertainingly enlightening "Low Magick."

Boy, I'm glad I did. This isn't just a deck that can be used for divination, it's a bona fide codex! The front of the box for the cards says in big, friendly letters "Real Magick in a Box" and it delivers. Here you have a working, interactive guide or gateway to the spirits of the Major Arcana, the Enochian angels, the demons of the Goetia, their position in time and space, and the astral world. It must have been exhausting synthesizing all this information into these charmingly illustrated (by his wife Constance Duquette) 78 cards but I'm so happy he took the time to do so.

Working alone or teaching a class this deck is, with a little prior knowledge, immediately accessible as a text and guide. If you aren't familiar with these branches of magic or their relation to the Tarot simply purchase Duquette's book "The Tarot of Ceremonial Magick," it is all right there. If I could go back and give myself a gift as a beginning magician it would probably be this deck with the admonition to stop wandering about and apply myself! I look forward to utilizing this deck to learn more and help instruct.

This now proudly resides next to my Thoth Tarot, while I haven't used it much for divination yet, its intricacies and ingenious references are a joy in and of themselves. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The Best of the Best 25 Oct. 2012
By Apollyon - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Cards
Lon Milo DuQuette is one of the world's greatest living ceremonial magicians, so how can this Tarot deck be anything but great? Based upon the Thoth deck, created by the world's greatest dead ceremonial magician, Baba Lon has added his wisdom, humor and understanding to create a deck with so many mystical Keys, you will hear it jingle if you shake it.

Anyone who loves Magick, anyone who loves Tarot, anyone who loves anyone should buy this for Halloween, for Christmas, or just for the hell of it.

Great Deck! 27 Dec. 2013
By Fredstrong - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Cards
Quality deck, and unique in the information offered. Including the Enochian and Yi Ching correspondences is a great addition. The deck is essentially Thelemic and follows the changes dictated by the Book of the Law, and Crowley. The only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is the artwork. Crowley was smart enough to get an amazing artist to execute his vision, and this deck certainly would have benefited from such respect. The artwork is sophomoric, and with the size of the OTO, it is hard to imagine a willing contributor could not be found with the artistic chops to pull it off properly. That being said, it is still a great deck!

More than just a Tarot deck! 14 Nov. 2012
By S.Thorley - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Cards
I was lucky enough to meet Lon Milo DuQuette a couple of years ago and he was kind enough to sign my deck, I found him very friendly, funny and knowledgeable on a great many magickal subjects.
This deck designed by Lon may look like your ordinary tarot deck on first glance but you could not be more wrong.
The deck images are based on Aleister Crowley's Thoth deck yet it has many additions. It contains Astrology, Enochian Magick, Goetia, Tattwa symbols and the I Ching symbols.
Any student of Magick or the Occult will gain a wealth of information from this deck (the guide book is also worth a look at).

Awesome Correspondences 4 Mar. 2013
By Merger - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Cards
I really can't say much more than what the other reviewers have already mentioned. This deck ties everything together. Such a great job by Lon at combining correspondences from the three great pillars of Magick. Even if you are a neophyte this deck can be used and as you move along in your studies it will continue to unfold before your eyes as everything you're learning comes together. The only problem I have with this deck is the fact that the male figures in the Major Arcana all share Lon's likeness and it gets on my nerves when I do a spread and the authors image is looking back at me. For this reason I have continued to use my Golden Dawn deck by the Ciceros but the Tarot Of Ceremonial Magick is well worth the purchase just for the correspondences that have all been brought together. The book released as a companion to the deck is also great and highly recommended by this reviewer.
