This case swallowed my Dell 17" widescreen AND the power supply AND a spare battery AND a mouse AND various cables and CD roms AND two DVD discs in their cases AND an A4 pad. I rest my case (and it's a good one.)

I am am most disappointed that the handle has started to disintegrate, so I have to replace the case. It has had a very easy life, so I cannot recommend it. It's by no means certain that the handle will actually pull away, but it's a risk I can't take.

I have had many laptops in my long career, and have always specified a Targus carrying case and have always been more than satisfied with them. So for my own new personal laptop I went for Targus, and brought this, and what a disappointment it has turned out to be, to be honest it will do what it claims to do, i.e. carry a laptop, but the quality of manufacture can best be described as shoddy. Fortunately the greatest distance I am aiming to carry my laptop is between my study and lounge, I would hate to have to carry it any distance as the handle seam cuts right into the hand. The lining of the case looks cheap and ill fitting. I guess its what you get when you buy the budget model.
