It has a beautifully tactile feel to it. The slate grey with white/silver contrast stitching looks like quality. And the little pen/stylus holder is a nice addition - although to be honest it is a little tricky trying to get my New Trent Arcadia stylus into it... but then the New Trent has a slightly bulbous 'point' to it so I am not holding that against Targus.
The Clasp mechanism - a hard moulded clip-like extension to the front cover - is very secure... In fact sometimes it is a little difficult to get it open, that is how secure it is...
This cover does not have the ability to stand the iPad up ion a portrait position - there is no swivel feature to it. But it does have two and a bit landscape positions (in addition to the flat on its back).
The half position is that if you tuck the front cover under the back is holds at about a 15degree angle - hold is perhaps slightly misleading, because if you choose to use it in this position, when you tap on the screen it will bounce a little - this is because the spine of the folio case has some give, but is not stretched enough for it to lay flat when underneath.
This is to be honest, slightly frustrating for me because it means that you have to have the whole thing open like a book if you want to lay it flat on whatever surface you are using. I am not sure if the spine will stretch over time and therefore not be an issue. It could I suspect, so it is not a deal breaker for me.Read more ›
What's the damn point in a case if its not going to function correctly? It's not just this Targus one but all the ones I've seen other than the Truss seem to suffer from the same mind numbingly stupid problem.
The case quality, is great but its useless if it cant be used as stand like it describes.

Great value at under a 5er! Protects the corners. Looks smartPublished 5 months ago by Harry Deacon
Cheap and brilliant for my ipad 3, not so much for my lady's ipad2, as it's a bit loose there, sliding off when in the most upright position. Read morePublished 14 months ago by R. Petursson
My son love this case for his IPAD 4, and it is very good, considering I get this as an add-on itemPublished 15 months ago by Rendel Lam
Best (and cheapest) iPad cover I've had. (4th one). A really clever design and feels very robust. I love it!Published 23 months ago by David Prytherch
Great case, protects iPad mini well and provides really strong stand for viewing and typing. Only thing I do not like is the hole showing the apple logo. Read morePublished on 11 Jan. 2014 by Lansdowne
