I bought this targus case for my macbook pro 13 because I didnt exactly trust the other soft neoprene sleeves out there in the market.
This targus case have 2 methods of opening: 2 zips and a pouch depending on your preference.
It also supposedly serve 2 functions: protection (obviously) and as a platform to put your laptop on (not extremely useful, but an added bonus feature I guess).
Size almost fit the macbook pro 13 perfectly with about half an inch of space on the 4 sides between the laptop and the case, anything less would probably cause some sort of pressure on the notebook.
Exterior: Solid as a rock!
Interior: Covered with a bright orange softer, cushion-like, but slightly tougher than neoprene material.
What I love:
I love taking this out of my backpack in lecture hall, unzip it and open it like a briefcase and just use it without taking my Macbook out. Then close it, zip it back and back in the backpack. Smooooth
Conclusion:
Solid as a rock. Will take up more space than the normal tight-fitting sleeve but can take one hell of a beating. Satisfied.
Recommendation though, theres a white version of it thats more rare. Personally, I might prefer the white one.

Normally I carry my MacBook Pro in a special rucksack so don't need a case, but after taking it away without the rucksack once and the acquisition of a couple of marks I thought it time to invest in protection. This certainly does the job - very robust , if a little bulky. I like the choice of opening - zip or flap - the 13" MacBook fits perfectly.

My MacBook Pro lives in this case - it was worth every penny and, after my Mac, it is one of my best buys. I was looking for a neoprene case to protect the Mac from scratches but spotted this case. It is sturdy and well padded and protects the Mac from knocks as well as scratches. It's also useful for when you need something to put the Mac on when using it, mine sits on the case when I am working on the garden table.

Excellent for non-Macbook
