This fits a 13 inch unibody MacBook Pro. Ok the Mac edges out over the front rounded surface of the chillmat just a little, however, i do not find this as a problem. It fits perfectly from the sides however. The usb connector on the back feels a little flimsy but still this thing sits on my desk so I don't see how this could be a problem. I conneted the chillmat power usb cable to my usb hub, however, it still needs the usb hub to be connected to the Mac in order for the fans to work (even though the usb hub is powered through its own transformer). Maybe this is due to the usb hub however and not due to the chillmat. As a slight downside I don't think its exactly silent as I can hear the fans working unlike the really silent fans in my MacBook. However, the fan noise is similar to that of my old laptop. The chillmat does however do a good job at cooling my MacBook! I can feel cool air flowing from the sides of my Mac and the undersde feels cool to the touch just after a minute of operation (ok this was at normal room temperature and just after swutching on my laptop but still it gives me the impression it will do a great job even when the laptop is being driven hard enough). To note is that there is no compartment where to hold the usb cable and the fan speed is not adjustable and there is no on or off switch (you simply plug in or unplug the usb cable). Additonally, there are no usb ports on the chillmat to compensate for the use of the usb port on the laptop. Nevertheless, I knew about these features and overall I would recommend this chillmat if you need to keep your laptop running cool on a desk and for small sized laptops (due to the small size of the chillmat). I will not leave the chill mat on, but will only plug in the usb cable when my laptop starts to heat in hot weather conditions or after prolonged use.
