Excellent value 30 Nov 2010
For under a tenner this keyboard is excellent value. A well built, good, solid, weighty keyboard - I was surprised how well constructed it was. Installation was easy, recognised immediately by Windows XP. It does take a while to get used to some of the keys being smaller (space bar, backspace, return), but that is not insurmountable. Only one gripe and that is that annoyingly the keyboard comes on with 'num lock' on, but that is a minor issue.

Perfect little keyboard for small spaces with all the functionality of a big one BUT flimsy. Space bar and dot button stick frequently and the keys feel cheap and light. It does the job I need it for as I only use it once or twice a week for a half hour of typing but I would not recommend this keyboard for regular use. Spend a few extra pounds and get something decent instead.

I wanted a keyboard without a numpad so that there's less distance to reach for the mouse. The main keys of this keyboard are full size, including all letters and numbers, but some of the others (Del, Ctrl, Tab..) are smaller than on most keyboards. Del and Ctrl are unusually placed, and there's only one Ctrl key. I had a particular problem with the placement of the Ctrl key as I used it a lot, but kept hitting the blue 'Fn' key instead as that's at the bottom left corner where my other keyboards have a Ctrl key (the Fn key seems to do nothing useful as far as I can see, and there's no documentation of it). By the end of the day I realised it would help to prise out the Fn key, which came out quite easily. Now at least I can't hit it by mistake!

Not the best keyboard, look elswhere...
I probably should have realised but I didn't notice that this isn't a full size keyboard.
It should be labelled as a mini keyboard or similar. Read more
