well i've just finished this book and apart from the very ending, which in my view spoilt the nature of this thriller-only just mind you, this was a very good book.
the charactors are really well identified and you can relate to them.the plot is well outlined and everything falls into place as it should and gives you the complete picture which in my view only helps you enjoy this book more.
this is a very well written story, which mixes romance, political intrigue and a good dose of suspense.
i've just ordered her previous works, this book being that good.
Her dying mother informs Meredith Rawson that she has a half-sister, who she wants treated right by splitting a trust fund between them. Meredith confronts her father who is in denial. He, in turn, calls someone to warn them what occurred, but is told to fix it or else. Now someone wants Meredith dead with only Detective Gage Gaynor, working a cold murder case that ties to her powerful family, keeping her safe.
COLD TARGET is an exhilarating romantic suspense with ever increasing tension as the half-siblings who did not know the other existed are in danger from powerful interests. Though the climax seems shaky, the story line moves at full speed so that the audience has quite a ride while waiting to learn the truth. The romance takes a somewhat back seat, yet is not neglected as readers receive an entertaining action-packed thriller.
