I'm in my 50ies, not a fanatical fan of poetry but found this to be an excellent pick me up focusing as it does on every day things (as diverse as "Try a Little Humour" to "Lovers' Lane"). As luck would have it, one of the poems seemed to have the answer to something I had been troubled about.
The book has less than 100 pages; it is light and easy to hold in the hand (roughly 20cm x 14cm). The individual poems are clearly set out and vary from 6 lines to 20 lines. You can have the book at hand to dip into from time to time or indulge yourself and gorge on reading through many of the poems in one sitting.
