This book is pretending to be The Tao of Badass by Joshua Pellicer. It's actually a book written by, who seem to me as, 2 total amateurs. Section 1 talks of the principals of Taoism which you can get on Wikipedia. Section 2 is by a chick that seems quite attractive an she talks of her experiences with guys and what she has found to work on her. I found section 1 guff because it just explains Taoism which could help you and it is quite interesting but goes into no depth at all and I can honestly say any improvements I've made are minimal. Look at how many pages there are and the guy is no expert. I could have scoured the internet for a week and written that. Section 2 is even worse, it's just a chick saying I think this is good for guys to do bla bla bla. If you want proper dating books, get the game by Neil Strauss and Dating by David DeAngelo. They put incredible effort into their work and are total experts in their field backing up their claims with facts and scientific studies. Don't buy this. AMAZON - please get the title of this changed, it's deceptive. I thought I was buying something else.

On first glance, the title of this book could be construed as pertaining to a work about the childish aspiration of becoming the kind of overconfident, womanising lout we should all avoid and certainly not try to be.

This however, belies the contents which are thought provoking and respectful to both sexes, even including a section of real life situations that have occurred from the female viewpoint. The main ethos promoted is that of being true to yourself
and transmitting the innate confidence that comes with it to the fairer sex.

As someone who grimaces when in earshot of a cheesy or creepy chat up line (which happens all too often), the idea that you shouldn't try tricks and deception (an example of which would be giving opinions in conversation that are what you think your friend wants to hear rather than your actual viewpoint) to seduce someone is one that strikes a chord.

On a negative note, there is quite a lot of repetition of the mantra of being true to yourself as a thread throughout the book, which became a little tiresome towards the end, but the point was an important one. It was just a little overused.

Ultimately, the Taoist ideology that is employed in this book is helpful for anyone trying to attract someone else as it pervades us all and how we perceive each other and can also be used in a wider sense to help us in the rest of our 'non-dating' parts of our lives.

A good read and certainly a good tool for self-improvement that preaches respect for each other and ourselves. That can only be a good thing.

Agree with other reviews - THIS IS NOT TAO OF BADASS and should be removed for misleading buyers. If you want Tao Of Badass reviews then they're on goodreads [...] and they're much better overall than the reviews of this poor imitation. This book is written by amateurs, whereas Tao Of Badass is written by a guy who has spent years studying psychology, body language etc. It's pretty bad to think that Amazon are allowing their customers looking for a seduction course that has sold 10,000s of copies to be mislead with this poor imitation. Google Tao Of Badass and you'll see the real course and real reviews.

Despite the picture of a lovely lady on the front cover, this slim (like a magazine) book is all about how to live a better life and be a better person. As I do so, perhaps the lovely lady and her ilk will find me more attractive. I like this book, it is an easy read, but with some thought provoking themes.

Received the "book" today and what a load of rubbish. It looks cheap and nasty. The only good thing is the woman on the front. It is more a booklet than a book. Most of the pages are half blank. If they used less blank spaces it would be about 10 a4 pages long at the most. Also the content is not very good or interesting. The price is far to high. It should only cost £5 at the very most. Don't waste your money on this like I have, you will only regret it!
