Having recently visited The Tank Museum both to take some letters and an old newspaper from 1916 for their safe keeping also to try to trace, my fathers action in the battle of the Somme ,where he took one of the early tanks (which we understand to have been `Little Wille`) into battle, this book was reccomended by the archive department at Bovington to further our research.I bought it for my son`s Christmas gift as he has been tracing the activities.he is delighted with it. Found it very enlightening. I now am waiting for my turn to have a look at it.
