I am a 34 year old man, I work in an outbound call center and what I do all day is sit with a headset on while the computer autodials existing customers. It gets pretty boring! I had spent a fortune on doodle pads and I had bitten my nails to shreds! I have always been a nail biter, but this was ridiculous! I was seeing blood! So I started a Google for stress balls and office toys and I came across this on another website. I purchased the dark blue Tangle and I couldn't put it down, I took it into work and played with it the entire 8 hours, the next day I was at work and nipped to the loo only to come back and see it missing from my desk! Luckily it was my work mate that had borrowed it, but he said it was great for his concentration! So I ordered him a white one so he wouldn't steal mine anymore. I then got really fascinated by Tangles, I kept my blue one in my work bag, and that meant that I still bit my nails at home while watching TV or Netflix. So, I purchased this one for my home Tangle. It is thicker than the blue one and feels a lot more sturdy in my hands. I have used my blue one so much that it is very slack, where the Tangle Relax Therapy is stiffer, But I am sure it won't be long until I have this one looser and slipping effortlessly through my fingers.
It is a little bit more expensive than the other Tangles, but it is coated in bumpy rubber and feels more relaxing in my hands. I have became a bit of a Tangle hoarder and have ordered the set of 3 as well, just in case anything happens to my others! I would certainly recommend a Tangle to anyone wanting to stop biting their nails. My nails look great now!

My father-in-law has alzheimers and has been twisting buttons off of his clothes. Tried this as an alternative thing to twist, something to occupy his hands. It is easily manipulated and has for the time being saved his buttons. For some reason he likes to put this in his mouth - seems robust enough to stand this.

The Relax was the first Tangle I bought, and I just replaced it. I also own a Jr. Textured and a Jr. Chrome. I'm going to compare it to the Tangle Jr. Textured.

This Tangle is not as durable as the Jr. It's got a rubbery surface, so I knew it wouldn't last forever. I got about 8 months out of mine, but how long it depends on how much you use it. By the end, the bumps had worn off and it looked permanently dirty. It's not as easy to keep clean, and it's not ideal to take everywhere.

I used dish soap and water to clean it, but after I bought a replacement, I experimented with different ways of cleaning it. I wouldn't recommend using alcohol based solutions to clean them, it seemed to degrade the surface. It's hard to tell, however, since it was old when I tried cleaning it. Other types of cleaners did the same job or worse than dish soap. I felt dish soap cleaned a bit better than regular soap, but that might have lead to it degrading a bit faster. Lastly, I threw it in the dishwasher (it's not labeled dishwasher safe, I was just curious). That pretty much killed it. The bumps all disappeared and the surface got a sticky, gross feel to it. some of the rubber was so badly damaged, it peeled off easily. The inner skeleton is pretty nifty, so if you have an old Relax, you might want to dissect it.

This Tangle is floppy. The Jr stays posed. For me, it's not a plus or minus in either direction, it's just a notable difference.

This Tangle matches the pictures and will lay flat. The Relax comes with exactly 20 pieces, and you can put it in shapes that lay perfectly flat. My Jr Textured and Chrome both have 18, so they will always lay with a bit of a curve. There's also a perfectly even number of colours.

I bought this Tangle having been given a cheaper free version by my doctor to help with smoking cessation. I had worn it out and decided to buy this new one thinking it would last as long. The reality is this Tangle Relax Therapy is more robust which should last longer, has a bubbled surface for extra sensory experience and works more smoothly than the old one.

This is brilliant! With various domestic horrors at the moment, I found I was twisting my hair round my fingers and was beginning to cause serious damage. This little item has taken the place of this unfortunate habit. Thoroughly recommend this stress-reliever!

This product has been fantastic for my son who has Autism and ADHD. His sensory issues mean that he constantly fidgets and he can get into trouble by playing with things that he is not supposed to ie the HIFI. This item has been fantastic and seems to provide the right kind of tactile feedback that he is constantly seeking. He can spend hours twisting it and pulling it and it really helps to keep him calmer. I am now ordering 2 more - 1 for school and one for spare.

Love it. We all really love it. All the sections move around really easily and it's so tactile. Such a simple product. My 8 yr old daughter uses it before she goes to sleep. It helps her to relax. My 2 yr old son uses it which helps him to calm down when he's over excited. My husband uses it during the evening when biting his nails is at its worst! Brilliant...
