Product Description

Ever since Dylan Stone beat Veronica Chasen out of a prime position at the Cleveland Herald they've been bitter rivals, engaging in a very public war of words in their competing newspaper columns. They routinely challenge each other to go bungee jumping, white-water rafting, or into tattoo parlors to see who will wimp out first. But Veronica's latest taunt may be Dylan's toughest assignment yet: she dares him to learn to knit.Dylan is not going to let something his grandmother can do scare him off. He's man enough to make a scarf - and attend Veronica's weekly knitting circle. But when the infuriatingly handsome Dylan shows up at the craft shop and charms all the ladies, Veronica starts to get all knotting up in something that feels a lot like love.

Tangled in Love 21 Aug 2010
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Took this book on holiday and really enjoyed it. It is a very raunchy book and I wouldn't lend it to my Granmother. It is the classic two people who hate each other, but, have huge sexual chemistry. Throughout the book there are numerous very detailed sex scenes which is unusual for a typical chick flick. If you only like romance then this isn't the book for you, but, if you like the naughty stuff then you will not be disappointed.

Veronica Chasen and Dylan Stone are arch rivals. If they're not engaged in a war of words, the pair of newspaper columnists from rival papers are challenging each other to dares like bungee jumping, getting tattoos or white water rafting. And now comes the biggest challenge of all - Ronnie dares Dylan to learn how to knit.

Who knew knitting could be so difficult? But Dylan isn't about to be beaten by a bit of wool or by the infuriatingly sexy Ronnie. So he joins her knitting group and proceeds to charm all Ronnie's friends. But when she agrees to private knitting lessons she realises she might have found herself getting a little bit tangled up with the one man she never expected.

This is the first novel I've read by Heidi Betts but if all her books are like this one then I'm definitely going to buy up her back list!

I love a couple who start off at odds with each other and throughout the course of the novel turn all that passion into love. Ronnie and Dylan definitely fit that bill. From page one I was hooked and rooting for them and it was delicious to watch the pair dance around each other on their journey towards a happily ever after.

The story itself is sexy, funny and really entertaining - this was the kind of book you didn't want to put down and has characters that you'll still be thinking about long after the book is done. It's not heavy on the knitting so don't worry if, like me, you've never knitted before. But after reading this book I definitely want to try my hand at it! There are two more books in this series and I cannot wait to read Jenna and Grace's stories, Loves Me, Loves Me Knot and Knock Me for a Loop.

If you like fun and sexy romances with great characters then I'd really recommend this book to you. I really loved it from the first page to the last. 5 stars.

If you're looking for fun, sexy chick-lit that contains feisty females and infuriatingly handsome men then this could be the book for you.

Rival journalists Dylan and Veronica (Ronnie) have been challenging each other to madcap dares in their respective newspaper columns for a long time now, but when Dylan makes a somewhat sexist crack, avid knitter Ronnie hits onto the perfect plan: Dylan must learn how to knit. Dylan of course, can't back down- even if his masculine pride is at stake, he's not going to turn away from such a dare--and surely he's man enough to knit a scarf! Ronnie however is unwittingly pulled into being his knitting coach, and as she starts spending a little more time with Dylan and gets to know him as a person, she can't help but think he's not the arrogant jack-ass she's always thought he was...

A fabulously funny read with scorching sex-scenes to boot (though they do seem a little unbelievable in places--- HOW many times in one night?!). I just adored Dylan and Ronnie, who is actually much more vulnerable deep down than she initially appears. Their friends too, as secondary characters are written really well- I particularly like the hints of a back story between Jenna and her ex-husband, who feature in the follow on story and which I can't wait to read.

I've read a lot of what I've dubbed as `knit-lit' recently, but this one was one of the best--even if you aren't a knitter then that doesn't matter, it isn't a huge part of the story, more of a sub-plot if I'm honest. There is however, a knitting pattern for `Dylan's scarf' at the end of the book which is very cute. I also wouldn't call this a `romance' per se, which comes down to the naughtiness aspect of the plot- but if you're a fan of raunchy chick-lit then believe me, this is a must read.
