I bought this case for my Nikon P7000 compact camera and it is a perfect fit. It's not too bulky and it is ideal for wearing on a belt. Very pleased with the choice.

I like to wear my Canon G10 on a belt and to have access to it as quickly and easily as possible. I prefer a velcro opening rather than having to fiddle with a zip which could also scratch the camera. My camera is fitted with a ProStrap wrist strap rather than the supplied neck strap and I leave the strap outside the case. The strap is slipped over my wrist, the Velcro flap is opened and the camera is in use in seconds. I would describe this case as lightly padded and it won't protect your camera in severe weather as well as the zip up type might but for my purposes it's perfect.

Fit is excellent and there is enough room in the front pocket to take a spare battery without making the case to bulky. It's also very easy to get the camera in and out. Straps are removable so it can be carried in a handbag or largish pocket.
