This idem is very fun to build. It is a "MILITARY MINIATURES" kit, so if you are under 10 this might be too hard. Heck, im only 9, so to anyone who is under 10, go ahead and order it. It says "cement and paint not included" on the front of the box, but the sand bags are already the same color that they are supposed to be. Instead of using "cement" I used a hot glue gun
and it had an even better effect. To anybody who is interested: I recommend this idem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any diorama builder worth his/her salt uses sandbags as a fundamental element to establish the position of the toy soldier in the battlefield scene. The sand bag establishes line of attack,static positions such as observation posts even when camouflagued, command and control positions, firing lines/sniper positions, etc. Depicting the action in and around sandbag redoubts, showing hand to hand combat, etc. all acquire heighten focus when using sandbags to establish the action in a relative localize space amidst the diorama.
Tamiya's product is simple to use and its color need not be painted. Some trimming of excess spruce is needed. The total number of individual sandbags does not lend to grand action scenes but all around I find it a great product for the hobbyist.1/35 Sand Bag Set

These are excellent for any sandbag barricade, they are easy to glue together; I have not yet painted them as they do not need it for most tasks. They are a good step in adding that real look to barricaded layouts. I will be ordering a few more because they don't come with very many with respect to what I need.
