it has all the info from the thesis whisperer blog, but in one place. I think it's worth the £2 on Kindle, if it had been more, I would have not bought it. This book is particularly targeted for PhD students. It is probably better to read it when you are just starting your thesis, but I am in my final year and like looking at it because it gives me reassurance.

Anyone starting or already doing their PhD should invest in this. It only costs the same as a coffee in the author's native Melbourne, so will not break the bank. It is full of down to earth advice and useful tips, all presented succinctly and in a non-stuffy way. The author is a regular on twitter. If you have come across her there, then you will know this is worth buying. If not, take a look at #thesiswhisperer and I bet you'll be back for this book!

This book makes you consider different aspects of postgraduate research and how to manage your thesis. I would recommend this to research students.

5.0 out of 5 stars short, clear and immensely comforting 4 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am in the process of doing a PhD and immediately recognised many issues, pitfalls, challenges and unhelpful behaviours mentioned here. It offers plenty of good references to other books and papers and keeps a really cheerful tone whilst recognising that PhD's are tough!

Super piece of work. Thanks.
