Tamagotchi Connection owners care for a virtual pet - a Tamagotchi - by selecting various controls to feed it, play games with it, clean up after its messes and give it medicine when it becomes sick. Additionally, owners can communicate with their friends using Tamagotchi Connection's improved communication functions. The infrared technology allows Tamagotchi Connection owners to connect with others and play games, give gifts, and become friends; Tamagotchi can also store up to 45 friends' characters in its Friend List for future communications. Tamagotchi Connection really simulates the life cycle of an actual pet, letting its owner experience the fun and responsibility of tending to a pet's needs. Once an adult, the Tamagotchi can connect with a compatible Tamagotchi friend and have a second-generation Tamagotchi that the owner can care for and nurture into an adult to create more generations to come. The character you get is based on how well you care for your Tamagotchi, and you can actually raise several generations in one Tamagotchi with proper care and feeding. You can also play again and again with Tamagotchi and get a different character each time you play. And this new line of Tamagotchi has a great new element: a pause feature! Well well, what a little bundle of fun this is. Perhaps I'm a tad old to be playing with virtual pets, but it's a real blast from the past. There's plenty to do on it, before you even start heading to Bandai's Tamatown website. And whilst it's such a reasonable price, should definitely be snapped up.
It features 5 minigames, plus 15 more in the form of jobs for your tamagotchi character, of which there are many. My first one to hatch eventually turned into an alcoholic party animal, much to my amusement. :)
The second is a rockstar fireman! Pretty funky.
Indulge your inner child (or an actual child!) and buy one of these. ^^
