I know this sounds like I am the dullest person in the world but this book really is fantastic - never again will you have dirty sink tops and grubby carpets - there is not one stain I can think of that can't be solved by this book - a great joke wedding gift or mothers day present.

Linda Cobb is an expert on all forms of house-hold cleaning, from specific stain removal to general, everyday cleaning, and this book contains tips, shortcuts, and homemade receipes to tackle housework. I enjoyed this book, it is a quick, easy read with clear graphics and short "sound bite" tips such as using shaving foam as an instant spot remover on carpets (and it actually works!) And today despite all our high-powered vaccum cleaners we are often unsure what to use as an effective cleaner on the many different surfaces and materials in our houses. This is fun and entertaining, but as with any book which has "homemade" as part of its contents, be prepared for a certain amount of "extra" work!

What you can't do with white vinegar isn't worth knowing. i will never pickle eggs with it again...now i use it in the washing machine ,on the floor and in the dishwasher!
