This product is quite good at providing useful phrases such as "good morning", "beer", "beach", "where are the suitcases?", other general touristy matters, colours, times and sundry items but could have provided more depth in how to structure sentences in order to create your own intelligible phrases. I would have preferred more examples of very basic vocabulary (such as "he", "she", "they", "I am", "they are", "here", "there", and so on, which would make the excellent examples provided even more adaptable in practice.

Nevertheless, both I and my 7-year-old son found the games entertaining and he arrived in the Philippines with a fair vocabulary which provided a good foundation for further progress.

Paalam (goodbye).

I am sorry to say that this language pack is of very limited use, and a poor purchase at the price.

Please be aware that it is extremely basic list of Tagalog words with accompanying pictures designed as if for very young children.

If you are an adult or wanting to learn Tagalog this is useless as you will learn just a few words that are so common that its pointless even bothering as any Filipino will know them.

Just a list of common words that come up on the screen, and overpriced at that.

For Beginners I recommend 'Learn Filipino' available through Amazon.com which is brilliant and comprehensive and costs only a little more.

Good value for money. 15 May 2009
This is great and easy to understand. the only problem I had with this program was it does not have the Tagalog alphabet.
