Product Description

In neighbouring farms live two goats - one called Myrtle, one called Muriel. Myrtle lives in a field of cabbages, but she loves turnips. Muriel, with her field of turnips, prefers cabbages. So, every morning, they swap vegetables. Their farmers aren't at all happy about this and try to stop them - but will they succeed? Find out in this fun-filled farmyard frolic!

A beautifully crafted and illustrated story for young children that will be enjoyed again and again. Barber treats the theme of friendship and sharing lightly and humorously conveying the message in a way young children will easily understand and enjoy.

Truly delightful and cleverly crafted, you'll be hooked to the last page, never mind the kids (oops no pun intended!) For the stupidity of the farmers one can find many parallels in modern life, but at least they love their goats and love always wins, at least, it does in this great book.
Buy it, you'll love it.

Lovely tale 8 Jan 2012

Format:Paperback
This tale about the friendship between 2 goats is adorable. My 3 year old loves it. It's a big book, so she can look easily at the nice ilustrations. I bought it for an amazing price, so I totally recommend it.
