These tins are SO pretty - much too nice to keep in a cupboard, so all three are out on my work surface and I get a kick every time I look at them because they are so much more attractive than the old tins.
In practical terms, they are all deep enough for modern cupcakes and the widest is more than big enough for my 9 inch christmas cake.
I love them and couldn't have bought anything better.

I purchased these tins as a Xmas present,but dealing with Kitchenmonger was a nightmare. The large tin arrived with a scratch on it & I finally received a replacement in mid January,after many e-mails. It is a pity that the lids have TALA printed in the middle & ' Set of 3 decorative tins for storing cakes & biscuits' printed around the edge. Maybe pictures of muffins or cakes would have been prettier. The lid of the large tin is also rather loose.
I admit that my disappointment in the purchase has a lot to do with the bad service given by Kitchenmonger. They even want the scratched tin returned,at my expense. There are many pretty tins in the shops now....search there before considering purchasing from Kitchenmonger.

Absolutely love these tins. Loved how they looked online, had to have them strate away. They are sooo gorgeous and pretty, the biggest tin is bigger than i thought, its great. Also good service, ordered them on wednesday, had them by friday, chuffed with my service and goods.

These cake tins are so pretty! They brighten up any kitchen and provide you with a nice way to store your cakes and buns.
The tin at the bottom is as large as you would expect and holds a 9" cake with ease! The Medium one is perfect for a small cake or many cupcakes and the small one I use for tray bakes as it is very small. The tins keep out moisture well and I've noticed that my cakes are staying fresher for longer.

These tins are very attractive with their retro design and pretty colours. The sizes are good for most home baking and they fit one inside the other when not in use. Mine are on display on a broad window ledge and they add a finishing touch to any domestic goddess's kitchen! They are appealing enough to serve those cup cakes straight from the tin.
Four months later: the lids have proved truly airtight and my cakes and biscuits keep fresh for a long time. I'm delighted with them as I looked long and hard in cook shops and these are definitely the tops!

... William Morris quote -I love these tins because they are both useful and beautiful! I was pleased to find they had a good airtight seal and the colours are so pretty. The blue tin is big enough for a nine inch cake and all the tins are nice and deep. Thanks Sis! Top present!
