As bloggers at The Unofficial Apple Weblog (tuaw.com), we have the happy privilege of working with Apple products every day. The iPad is so different from any computer you’ve ever used, and we realize many people could use a helping hand, to feel comfortable buying and using an iPad. Excellent 9 Aug 2010
Format:Paperback
I'm one of those people who get a new piece of technology, then only explore about 10% of its capability. With the iPad, I decided to try a bit harder. Thanks to this excellent book, I now look like a bit of an expert on the iPad. The book is well-written, informative and clear. Highly recommended.

I'm typing this from my iPad thanks to this book! I got the iPad thinking it would be exactly like using my iPod touch. While they're similar, I soon discovered I was missing out on some of the finer things the iPad can do. I decided to pick this book up while on a trip to America. Read the whole think on the flight back home. That night I felt like I was really "using" my iPad to its fullest for the first time. Highly recommended!

The "missing manual" for the iPad 30 July 2010
By Brent Arnold - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I bought the iPad on the first day it was released. Waited in line and snagged a 32 gig wifi model. Even after using it nearly everyday for the past 2 months, I still learned things I never knew about my iPad.

"Taking your iPad to the Max" walks you through every aspect of the device. The authors give clear instructions on how to use each feature, using helpful illustrations showing exactly how to perform the task they're discussing.

The iPad is for both young and old alike. This book explains it in such an easy to understand language, even your grandmother will know how to use an iPad. This really is the missing manual everyone needs.

Writing this review from my iPad (thanks to this book)! 25 July 2010
By Jon Travell - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
My son bought me an iPad for a birthday gift. I played around with it for a few weeks but didn't really enjoy it too much. It was a little too complicated for me. Last week my son bought me Taking Your iPad to the Max. I browsed most of the chapters, reading what was relevant to what I wanted to use the iPad for, and now I can't put the iPad down! The book really helped me get used to navigating a touch screen computer! If you aren't a computer whiz or just need some extra help getting used to the iPad, buy this book!

Beneficial, easy to read, to the point 24 Dec 2010
By LordSpathington - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is a very handy guide to helping you maximize the use of your iPad. I'm not really a tech junky, but I do like to get as much out of my tech as I can and this guide went a long way to helping me accomplish that. It is written plain and clear to further help your education. I've given it five stars because it's really worth the investment and has come in handy for quick reference questions I continually find myself having about the iPad.
