This is a bundle of erotic shorts, which vary in length from fairly short to being a short novella. All of them have some kind of innocent in the story, almost all have at least one character that's an actual virgin, and about half of them are from first person POV and the other half are third person POV. It bugged me that the book description didn't have any descriptions of the stories, so I'm going to take care of that along with my opinions.
"My First Time" - is about a step-brother and step-sister. They're both 'of age' when their parents get married and about six months in, the crush Mika has on Chris comes to a head when he tries to slam his door and accidentally slams it on her hand. He's immediately contrite and takes her to the hospital, and after they get home his caring and consideration take a sexy turn. There's a lot more plot / character development to this story than I thought there would be, and that made me like it more. It was a fun, hot little read.
"Losing My Virginity" - Tammy's playing with herself when her brother's best friend, Shawn, accidentally busts in on her and of course he ends up wanting to show her a few things. He almost backs out when he finds out she's a virgin, but she manages to seduce him into some hot loving. I liked that it had a happy ending.
"Taboo Virginity" - This is a step-father / step-daughter story told from the step-father's point of view. Jessica is a rebellious teen and when her mom goes out of town on a business trip for a week her step-dad catches her in bed with a guy, at first he just watches and gets turned on, eventually stopping them when the guy starts to try and push Jessica past the point that she wants to go with him. Of course, Jessica can't help but notice that step-dad is turned on and... turns out she wants him now. Things get pretty raunchy when he takes her in all three holes. I'm usually not a fan of the whole 'cheating' scenario, but it was pretty easy to forget that mom even exists in this one.
"Pirate Invasion" - This one is historical and it's got elements of non-consent in it, although by the time the Pirate Captain has Lucy to his bed, she's asking him to make her his wanton. There's a bit of a convoluted plot as to why he needs Lucy, that would actually probably make a great book; as a short story it's got a few good twists and turns as well as the hot scenes.
"Selling My Virginity" - Chevonne is the only virgin left among her friends and man is she ready to lose it! They encourage her to auction herself off on "Hot Chick" night at a local strip club. Not sure if that's actually legal anywhere but it makes for a great fantasy. This one has exhibitionism and all three holes, it's a little bit BDSMy and a lot hot as a fantasy. There's good lead-up and anticipation.
"Prom Night DP" - After Shawn saves cheerleader Erica's life, she asks what he wants and he says a date to prom. Unfortunately she's already going with her boyfriend Lucas, but then she says "What about prom night?" Bring on the threesome. I'm not sure whose first time it is, but Shawn definitely loses some of his innocence when it comes to Erica; she's wild and Lucas is willing to go along with whatever she wants as long as he doesn't have "cross swords" as he puts it.
"My Dirty Little Secret" - this one is done in diary entry form and might be my least favorite. She talks about several of her exploits, the first of which is seducing a man that she used to babysit for into popping her cherry (and cheating on his wife). Then she gets it on with her step-dad and her step-bro at the same time after teasing them mercilessly. I'd already mentioned that I'm not into the cheating angles, so this story just didn't do anything for me, plus the writing style seemed really immature (which was probably on purpose since it was a diary entry, but it just wasn't for me).
"Bound to Hell" - This one is a little bit paranormal-y. The idea behind it reminds me of Piers Anthony's "Immortals" series. Dale accidentally kills a Grim Reaper and now has to take his place, this particular Grim Reaper kills monsters. He's helped along by Candy, a succubus who serves the reaper. And of course, she's ready and willing to do whatever Dale wants. This short is the most plot-heavy, but I'm not sure that's a good thing... there's so MUCH plot/action wrapped up into it that it kind of seems to drag on. And the amount of exposition that is needed to explain a lot of the plot in such a short amount of time doesn't help either.
"To Sir, With Lust" - Karen is a single mom doing parent-teacher conferences. Her daughter's crush on one of her teachers reminds Karen of her own teacher crushes. By the last conference she's tired and day-dreamy and ends up kissing Mr. Wilson... which leads to quite a bit more, especially when another one of the teachers ends up walking in on them! This was a hot little fantasy and a lot of fun to read.
"Virgin Girl" - After Lila's mother dies she's devastated. Eventually she turns to her step-father for comfort, which leads to uncomfortable attraction on his part. There's a surprising amount of emotional depth for such a short story, and the erotica that eventually comes around is both sweet and hot.
"My Sweet Virgin" - Nikki decides to lose her virginity to the guy she's been dating for a couple of weeks, but when her step-father walks in he throws Adam out and Nikki finally confesses the crush she's had on her step-father all along and threatens to go get it on with the first man she finds if he doesn't take her virginity. He agrees. They do it. And in the next chapter his name is suddenly Adam instead of Wes. Which was more than little jarring. Editing much? Anyway. Because her mom is away they, of course, bang all weekend. By this time I was a little tired of the step-father / step-daughter cheating angle esp since I didn't think the writing on this one was that great.
"My Little Virgin" - This is a first person story from the step-brother's POV and he's got a crush on his step-sister Lacey. Both of them are virgins, which makes this story unique in this pack. It's definitely got a little bit more going on in the romance side as well. The slow seduction and the going back and forth on whether or not they're going to go all the way makes for a pretty decent amount of anticipation.
So yeah, for 99 cents I say this is a great little bundle. Mostly hits, just a couple of misses, and (fortunately) it manages to keep from becoming too repetitive.
