This book explains data analysis in clear terms, providing easy to follow examples to show how the various techniques can be applied. It is very clearly indexed and the layout is brilliant. Many books claim to present statistics and data analysis in a clear and easy to understand way - this book REALLY does that. As someone specialising in educational psychology, who also works in making (academic) education and written texts clear and easy to follow, I can honestly say that this is an ideal book! If only more books were written this way!

A great deal of books are on the market today to make stats easy and understandable, proclaiming to present stats in an easy to understand non-mathematical way. The only trouble is that very few do this. This book does, the best way I can put it is to repeat the book description:

"written for people who do not like data analysis, who do not want to become analysts or statisticians, who think they cannot understand numbers or data, but who have to learn it in order to pass a course at college, to complete a dissertation or project, or to get or keep a job"
