Unlike most career or self-assessment books out on the market today. This book does not confuse you with Jargon or bore you to death with waffle of useless information. It is clear and concise, with helpful advice and exercises. Helping you to understand yourself, your situation and the world around you. So you can make a clear and positive decision on what you want.

The book contains real life case studies that are easy to relate to and show you what can be achieved.

If you’re bored at work, stuck in a rut or just simply don't know which way to turn. This is the book for you. I highly recommend this book as a lifesaver.

I thought this was a great little book. It got my mind set, and focussed in the right direction. It gives you the tools for deciding how to proceed, and helps you to start from an important place, -your own state of mind and why you are choosing to do what you do. After the first 50 pages i felt so energised and enthusiastic, it was wonderful. The exercises are great, make sure you invest the small amount of time it takes to do them.

A very nice, lightly presented book on career guidance with an NLP bias. Much of what you'll see here is also to be found elsewhere but if you want a slim book to recommend to friends or clients then Barbara's book is worth looking into. She has a nice mixture of exercise, example and plain good advice that may particularly appeal to people who wouldn't usually think that career guidance was for them.
