Product Description

It Takes Teamwork to Tango is a Business Novel. In business networking no-one thinks twice about giving their phone number to attractive strangers. They just don't take it personally if they never call. Jonny and Cat escape their boring corporate jobs only to become lost in the competitive small business arena, where a sparkling personality can be as important as a must-have product. Will they find enough work to pay for the necessities in life like beer and shoes? More importantly, will they get together for the last dance when they are battling with suspicious wedding photographers, wannabe millionaires, curry-based medicines, a farting dog and a shy matchmaker? "a delightful mix of business and pleasure!" Helen Grant, Founder. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Non Networker, 29 Jun 2007
By stephen (Manchester) - See all my reviews
I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of It Takes Teamwork to Tango from a friend who had an extra copy. As I don't have a need to network I thought it might not be a beneficial read. I changed my mind as soon as I began reading it. I really enjoyed the whole book, fully appreciated the networking message and was intrigued by the characters relationships and interactions throughout. The style of writing brought an amusing and welcome slant to the whole. Overall an excellent and entertaining read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Networking in a new light, 29 Jun 2007
Russ King is one of my favourite authors and 'It Takes Teamwork to Tango' certainly reached my expectations. Russ has an amazing ability to inject just the right amount of humour into this novel about what some may consider a serious business subject. If you are new to Business Networking, the characters in this book show you that it can be fun whilst meeting your business objectives. It will impart many insights into what networking is actually about and if you are lucky may give you one or two tips that may benefit your love life and one or two things you may want to avoid. A pleasurable and informative read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Humorous, light-hearted & informative, 29 Jun 2007
By David Norton - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
What a great novel: as a small business man I shall definitly be networking now that I've read "It takes teamwork to tango".
This book tells a good story, with interesting characters finding their way, their contacts, and their love life, through business & social meetings.
I've learnt, and inwardly digested, that someone you meet may know someone who needs you or your services.
As Russ says, Jonny & Cat had only two degrees of separation between their networks ....
