Frey enters the bestseller arena with a bang. The Andrew Falcon character is very reminiscent of the Charlie Sheen character in Wall Street, and the novels tempo is similar to vintage Grisham. Make sure to read right up the end. The twist alone is worth 3 stars !

An excellent book from start to finish, that you do not want to put down, similar to Grisham's " The Firm " but better. Having read three of his books,he is now my favourite author and so far this is the best of the bunch.

The Takeover was one of the first books I really enjoyed to read! Although it sometimes gets a bit unrealistic, it's nice reading all the time. The book also provides much background information about the U.S. financial market, what I've found very interesting.

Very good -all ingredients of a good thriller
The author tells a suitable conspiracy story,but the good part is the environement: high society,young sucesfull hero,the world of big finance and even a bit of good naked women. Read more

Starts well, ends badly
This is such a good book at the beginning - excellent depiction of investment banking. And then it all goes horribly wrong with a segue into a huge conspiracy theory story. Read more

THIS IS THE FIRST AND THE BEST FICTION OF STEPHEN FREY.
IT IS AMAZING AND FASCINATING ESPECIALLY THE ILLUSTRATION OF THE INVESTMENT BANKING ENVIRONMENT IS PERFECTLY PUT BY THE AUTHOR.
