HERO AND PROTECTOR
Former bounty hunter, expert gunslinger, and the toughest sheriff Dodge City has ever known, Truman Wade is a real man from the tip of his black Stetson right down to his spurs and leather boots. He’s never met his match in a gunfight, but he’s never met a gorgeous, gutsy woman from the twenty-first century either…

TORN BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
Newly single after a rocky breakup with her self-absorbed fiancé, newspaper columnist Jessica Delaney crashes her car in a lightning storm and soon finds herself dodging bullets in the Wild West. Before the night is out, she’s tossed in jail for a murder she didn’t commit, and if things don’t seem complicated enough, the impossibly handsome sheriff in charge of her arrest has danger written all over him - and a sexy swagger to die for. Jessica knows she needs to get home, but when Sheriff Wade’s enticing touch sets her passions on fire, she begins to wonder if fate has other plans for her, and soon she must choose between the life she longs for in the future… and the greatest love she’s ever known.

TIME TRAVEL ROMANCE 5 Feb 2012
By L. Sims TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Jessica had lost her brother a year ago he had been shot. Now she had broken off her engagement to her self absorbed fiancé Liam. Driving through a storm in her car she has an accident, when she comes to, she is no longer in the present but is in 1881 and she is in Dodge city. Before she has time to come to terms with what has happened she is arrested and thrown in jail by the sheriff, Truman Wade. Although Jessica doesn't mind the view as sheriff Wade is certainly worth studying.
This is a very good story which I really enjoyed, for a quick read there is plenty happening. The characters are interesting and the story good, with a twist to the plot. The sexual tension between Truman and Jessica is hot. The love scenes are very well done. I really liked Truman he was the epitome of tall dark and handsome, Jessica was feisty and I liked the way her character adapted to living in the old west. A worthwhile read.

Cute but daft 5 Feb 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
A car accident propels our heroine into the Old West, where she manages to get herself accused of killing an outlaw - and the outlaw's gang aren't happy. So, of course, the sexy sheriff must protect her. But will she go back to the future where she belongs in the end?

The plot of the book is silly fun and fast moving, but don't look to this book for a particularly moving love story or for authentic details of the Old West. I didn't really think the couple had much chemistry, and cliches abounded. The ending had a nice twist, but wasn't really believable, even if you're willing to buy the whole time travel thing - it completely came out of the blue.

Hence my 3 star score - it was fun, competently written and passed the time, but not a keeper.

"Where are you going?" "To get a bath and a shave." Jessica smiled at him flirtatiously. "You don't have to smell pretty on my account." He turned the knob and opened the door. "Who said I'd be doing it for you? My horse is beginning to give me the cold shoulder." "e;
